Vallejo, CA — September 27, 2025 — The Vallejo Sister City Association and the Vallejo Sister City Commission proudly hosted our 19th Annual International Dinner, Auction & Dance this past Saturday, bringing together community members, cultural performers, and supporters for an evening that highlighted Vallejo’s global connections and cultural diversity.
Held on September 27, 2025, the celebration drew an enthusiastic crowd dressed in colorful traditional attire from around the world. Attendees enjoyed a lively program featuring international cuisine, dynamic musical performances, and dancing that kept the energy high well into the night.
This year’s event reflected “the heart of Vallejo—diverse, welcoming, and committed to building friendships across cultures.” and focused on our long-standing relationship with Akashi JAPAN.
A special expression of gratitude was extended to the volunteers, Cal Poly Maritime Academy, donors, guests, and the many consulates and dignitaries in attendance. Their dedication and support were essential in bringing the event to life. Without their contributions, this celebration simply would not have been possible.
The evening reaffirmed the power of cultural exchange in strengthening community bonds and honoring the many traditions represented across Vallejo.
With this year’s success, planning is already underway for the milestone 20th annual celebration.
