The Vallejo Sister City Commission and Association are hosting a planning committee meeting for the 2026 Bagamoyo TANZANIA Trip, on Saturday, June 7th from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Vallejo Sister City Room.  Some items for discussion will include trip itinerary:

• Visit to Bagamoyo District Office (their equivalent of City Hall)
• Visit to U.S. Embassy (686 Old Bagamoyo Road, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania)
• visit past President, The Honorable Jakaya Kikwete
• Visit to the School and Medical Center that we visited and installed solar panels
• A photo safari
• Bring Medical Supplies
• Bring books
• Participate with Rotary and Turo Projects (if schedule permits)
• Mt. Kilimanjaro area visits and the school that former Ambassador to the United States, Sanair Maajar started.  We hope to review their progress on the 2024/2025 project “ID” (I Don’t Do Drugs drone project).
• Medical center in Kenya where we helped the elephant and giraffe rescue facilities
